Pod 1 & 2 Athletics Day

On Tuesday 21 November, Pod 1 & 2 held their annual Athletics Day.  The sun was shining and there was lots of excitement in the air.  Once the Pod 1 & 2 students were ready in their groups, they headed out to the small field where they moved through 12 different station.  Many fun things had been organised.  We had a huge colourful parachute where we played games like shark attack, a dress-up relay race and a gum boot throw to test our strength and accuracy.  There was a water activity to cool us down, a rolly polly to test our direction and an obstacle course to test our balance.  After everyone had completed each activity we headed over to the large field where everyone had a chance to race.  We finished the day off with a mums race, a dad's race and a few wheelbarrow races.  What a successful day!
