Ukulele 2017

A ukulele is an instrument that has 4 strings and is native to Hawaii.  At Shelly Park School we are lucky to have Caleb who teaches a group of children in our school library how to play the ukulele.  Each term, Caleb teaches us new songs and we practise them each week. This year we learnt to play Budapest by George Ezra, Royals by Lorde, Sorry by Justin Bieber, I’m Yours by Jason Moraz, and Count on Me by Bruno Mars.  Caleb is bubbly and funny.  He pretends that he can't hear you and then says random letters. But he is not only a ukulele teacher.  Did you know that he is also a music teacher at our school? We are so lucky to have a teacher like him! And we are lucky to have the opportunity to play an instrument.  Caleb is the best music teacher ever!!!! It is very fun and easy to play the ukulele and if you get stuck Caleb is there to help you.
